The countdown of the 50 best Mountain West players continues with the No. 42 selection which is San Diego State linebacker Derek Largent. While fellow linebacker Jake Fely will get more of the attention, opposing teams can not overlook Largent.
Last season, he racked up 61 tackles, 9.5 were for a loss, 6.5 sacks and also managed a pair of interceptions. Largent was in the backfield quite often last season and he could improve off of those numbers with another year in the system.
