2013 NBA Draft: SB Nation's final mock has three MWC players

Three Mountain West players are projected to go in the first round.

Troy Babbitt-USA TODAY Sports

The NBA Draft is on for Thursday night at 7 p.m. ET, and the final mock draft for SB Nation was made earlier on Thursday. As expected there are three Mountain West players who they believe will be taken within the first round. UNLV's Anthony Bennett is the top choice out of the league followed by a surge from New Mexico's Tony Snell and then San Diego State's Jamaal Franklin.

Snell has seen his stock sky rocket as he was considered to be a fringe first round pick at best, but now some mock drafts have him in the teens. While Franklin is all over the board with where the experts feel he will be selected. Bennett is a sure fire lottery pick and could go as high as No. 3 overall.

Here is where Tom Ziller has the trio of Mountain West players going in the draft:

4. Charlotte Bobcats: Anthony Bennett (scouting report)

The one terrible team that needs a big man in love with watching himself take shots.

23. Indiana Pacers: Tony Snell (scouting report)

Tony Snell is the Andrea Bargnani of wings in that he is probably going to be a historically bad rebounder. He might average negative rebounds. But hey, he can shoot!

30. Phoenix Suns: Jamaal Franklin (scouting report)

And Phoenix's two first-round picks immediately become Phoenix's two best players. (No offense to Goran Dragic.)

Indiana could be a great spot for Snell to team up with Paul George, and any team would be lucky enough to have Franklin's athleticism. As for Bennett, he will likely be the best player for what ever team ends up drafting him.
