The 2013 NFL Draft is barely behind us all, but for the draft experts the 2014 edition is already underway. Over at SB Nation's Mocking the Draft they put up their first 2014 mock draft.
Things will obviously change from now until next years draft, just look back at former San Diego State quarterback Ryan Lindley who at one point was considered a top-10 pick in the 2012 in these early mock drafts, but he ended up being picked in the sixth round.
Mocking the Draft has San Jose State quarterback David Fales is projected to be first round pick, and heading to the Chicago Bears:
Jay Cutler is entering the final year of his contract and the Bears could find their quarterback of the future in next year's draft. Fales is a favorite among the draft analyst community because he puts good zip on the ball and throws with accuracy.
This would make Fales the third quarterback of the draft after Louisville's Teddy Bridgewater (projected No. 1) and Clemson's Tajh Boyd (projected at No. 6).
Fales did put up some very good numbers in 2012 and if he can do the same against some tougher competition of the Mountain West, then just maybe it is possible that Fales could be a first round pick in next years draft
