The San Diego St. Aztecs could be losing junior Jamaal Franklin to the NBA Draft, or they may not. There are conflicting reports about Franklin's basketball future.
Jeff Goodman of CBSSports.com is reporting that his sources are saying that Franklin is going to to skip his senior year and head to the NBA. However, Aztecs head coach Steve Fisher told the San Diego Union-Tribune that Franklin is still mulling over his options:
Fisher: "I’m continuing to gather information to help him make an educated decision. But he hasn’t made a decision. I’m sure of that."

Then there is San Diego State's associate athletic director or media relations Mike May is also saying that Franklin has yet to make a decision. Fisher also went on to say that a decision is likely not going to happen until next week.
Franklin would be a big loss to the Aztecs since he led the team in scoring (17 points), rebounding (9.5) and assists (3.3) per game. NBA personell are saying that Franklin could be taken as early as the middle of the first round, but there are a few mock drafts that have Franklin as an early second round selection.
