The New Mexico Lobos clinched the Mountain West Conference regular season championship on Saturday, taking the No. 1 seed for the MWC Tournament next week. And while the chase for the top spot may be over, the jostling over seed 2 through 4 is still very much on.

The Colorado St. Rams and UNLV Runnin' Rebels enter the week tied for second place - but UNLV holds the tie breaker due to their split with UNM. But the San Diego St. Aztecs and Boise St. Broncos are just one spot back.

This week's top games will decide seeding in the MWC Tourney and will absolutely decide who makes the NCAA Tournament and who does not.

  • Boise St. at UNLV - Tuesday, 7 pm PT | Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas, NV | TV: Time Warner Cable SportsNet: The Broncos kept themselves in the NCAA Tournament conversation by beating CSU Saturday night. UNLV didn't fall back last week, setting up this rematch and making it very important for both teams - but more important to Boise State as they try to make their case for an NCAA bid. Too bad it's being played in Vegas.
  • The Air Force Falcons at San Diego St. - Wed. 8:30 pm PT | Viejas Arena, San Diego, CA | TV: Time Warner Cable SportsNet: The Falcons were once looking passing Boise St. by as the fifth team vying for an NCAA bid. The Aztecs were picked to win the MWC in preseason. This game is part of the quest for redemption for both teams. SDSU needs the win keep pace with UNLV and is at home. That should make the difference.
  • San Diego State at Boise State - Sat. 1:30 pm MT | Taco Bell Arena, Boise, ID | TV: NBC Sports Network: Depending on the early games in the week, this could be the game of the week. If both teams come in with wins on Tuesday and Wednesday, this game is a playoff for the No. 3 seed in the MWC Tourney (Colorado St. has Wyoming and Nevada this week and should take care of business.) Even without that carrot, based on the game in Viejas Arena earlier this season, this will be entertaining.
