The Colorado St. Rams posted a 7-6 record this season, which was good enough for the Rams to qualify for their first bowl game since 2008. The last bowl game the Rams went to was also the New Mexico Bowl, which the Rams won 40 - 35 over the Fresno State Bulldogs.
This time, instead of facing a WAC opponent, the Rams will be facing Washington State. The Gildan New Mexico Bowl will be held in Albuquerque, NM at University Stadium on the University of New Mexico Campus. The stadium is 5100 feet above sea level and seats 39,224. CSU is offering Ram fans tickets and travel packages through New Horizons Travel in a program called "On the road with the Rams."
