Hawaii's 2013 season was obviously not the best with a 1-11 record and with the poor season the coaching staff is starting to get gutted. Defensive coordinator Thom Kaumeyer and linebackers coach Tony Tuioti, per CBS Sports Bruce Feldman.
The two coaches are deserving to lose their job as the Hawaii defense was 117th in total yards allowed and 115th in points allowed by giving up 38.8. This was Kaumeyer's first and only year with Hawaii and prior to this job was the defensive backs coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2008-11. He mixed and mashed jobs between college and NFL.
With Kaumeyer out, Norm Chow has a both coordinating positions more than likely include opening. There is still the about the status of offensive coordinator Aaron Price who stepped down a few days prior to fall camp starting, so who knows what his status is with the team.
