It's been a wild first quarter in the BYU-Utah State game, but the big news is that Chuckie Keeton went down with an apparent knee injury late in the first.
Kyle Van Noy laid the hit on Keeton and the Aggie quarterback had to be carried off the field, unable to put any pressure on his left knee. Keeton was then shown sitting on the bench with ice around his knee and CBS Sports reported that the quarterback was going to receive an MRI, meaning that his night would be done.
The Aggies now have to win without Keeton at the helm. Craig Harrison has taken over at the position and will have to work to lead Utah State to victory against a very aggressive BYU defense who has been hitting hard tonight. If the Aggies can succeed on the field tonight, it will set them up well for the future.
