Nevada starting quarterback Cody Fajardo will be wearing a knee brace this coming Friday when the Wolf Pack take on San Diego State. Fajardo injured his right knee by straining it in the home opener against UC Davis on September 7th. The injury previously caused Fajardo to miss the Florida State and Hawaii games before he returned last week against Air Force.
There is no need to worry Nevada fans, as the brace is more of a preventive measure. Against Air Force Fajardo was 38-54 with 3 touchdowns and 81 yards rushing for 2 touchdowns. Fajardo has been quoted saying that he is "100% with the knee brace on," so everything is a go for the Wolf Pack.
