Week 10 projected BCS standings: Fresno State has a chance at No. 16

Fresno State struggled in their win over San Diego State, but they might have a shot at No. 16.

Fresno State is in the drivers spot to be No. 16 in when the latest BCS standings come out on Sunday night at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. Until then we can project to see where the Bulldogs might be. Fresno State did drop one spot to No. 16 in the coaches poll, and that has to do with a close win over San Diego State and South Carolina upsetting Missouri.

Northern Illinois was right with Fresno State in last weeks BCS standings, and that should be the case this week even thought the Huskies moved up two spots to No. 21 in the coaches poll.

Over at CBSSports.com, Jerry Palm has Fresno State at No. 16 and in a BCS bowl game since they are ahead of the AAC champ.
