Week 8 College Football Rankings, AP Poll: Fresno State Jumps to No. 17

Despite a bye week, Fresno State manages to leap up four spots in the AP Poll this week.

Fresno State enjoyed a bye in week seven, but due to losses all around the polls, the Bulldogs managed to leap up four spots in the latest Associated Press Top 25. The Bulldogs, now at No. 17 in the country, are 5-0 overall and 2-0 in the Mountain West Conference. Fresno garnered 383 total votes, narrowly beating out Oklahoma (380), but falling well short of Texas Tech at No. 16 (590). No other MWC team received votes in the rankings, which are included in full below:
