The UNLV Rebels are losing backup running back Bradley Randle to the NFL Draft. Randle has been the backup to starter Tim Cornett, and would still be the backup going forward in 2013, if he had stayed at UNLV.
In the 2012 season, Randle led UNLV with nine rushing touchdowns, and rushed for 635 yards while catching eight passes for 80 yards, he also had one game of 100 yards this season. The reason that Randle is taking his game to the next level is because he is graduating this spring.
This move makes no sense, because Randle is not likely to get drafted. With Randle being a projected backup to Cornett for the 2013 season, so maybe he feels that there is little chance to improve his draft stock. Since he is graduating might as well train for the NFL Draft, and see if he gets picked up as an undrafted free agent, or even possibly land a spot in the CFL or the UFL -- that is a thing right?
