2013 Hawaii Bowl: Game time, TV schedule for Boise State vs. Oregon State

Boise State takes on Oregon State in the Hawaii Bowl, and here are the details of how to follow the game.

Jonathan Ferrey

The Hawaii Bowl has had some extracurricular story lines over shadow the game itself with Boise State quarterback Joe Southwick getting sent home for peeing off a balcony, but Southwick denies he did that.

As for the game itself this should be a good matchup with the potential for a lot of points since each team has the potential to put up lots of points. Oregon State is currently struggling by losing their last five games so their confidence might be shot, but a bowl game and a month off before playing could do the trick to get them back on track to the team they were in the first half of the season.

The matchup to watch is Oregon State's Sean Mannion going up against the Boise State secondary. Mannion is capable of putting up huge numbers as he has done most of the season, and with Kevin Cummings back in the lineup to compliment the 2013 Biletnikoff award winner Brandin Cooks will make things difficult for the Boise State defense. One way for Boise State to slow down Mannion is to get a good pass rush from Demarcus Lawrence and others, and if they get to Mannion and force him to throw the ball early that could be a way to disrupt their offense.
