Mountain West tournament 2014: Day 2 TV schedule, bracket update

The quarterfinals for the Mountain West are set and Thursday's four game set will be on CBS Sports Network.

The opening round of the 2014 Mountain West tournament is in the books with Utah State winning a thrilling game, Boise State dominating San Jose State and Fresno State coming from behind to top Air Force.

These three teams are now getting into the grueling part of the tournament by playing consecutive games on consecutive days while their opponents are well rested. The good thing about the tournament set up is that the games on Thursday are later in the afternoon and evening, and that gives the opening round teams some rest to try to even the playing field.

The favorites in the quarterfinals are San Diego State, UNLV and New Mexico; while the Nevada vs. Boise State game is a toss up, especially given how the Broncos thoroughly defeated the Spartans.

Here is the television schedule for the quarterfinal games:

Thursday, 3/13: Quarterfinals (All times eastern)
San Diego State vs. Utah State, 3 p.m., CBS Sports Network
UNLV vs. Wyoming, 5:30 p.m., CBS Sports Network
New Mexico vs. Fresno State, 9 p.m., CBS Sports Network
Nevada vs. Boise State, 9 p.m., CBS Sports Network

Also, each game can be heard via the Mountain West radio network, and after the games Mountain West Connection will be streaming live the post game press conferences.

Here is the bracket for the remainder of the tournament:
