The Fresno St. Bulldogs and USC Trojans will be playing a one-time game in 2014, and it will be in Los Angeles with no return game in Fresno. This will be the first time that the two teams wil have played since the 2005 year where the Bulldogs nearly upset the Trojans.

That is until Reggie Bush turned it on late in the game to give USC the win and keep their national title chances alive. In this game, Bush had a career-high 294 yards on only 23 carries, plus he also caught three passes for an additional 68 more yards.

Bush had a pair of long touchdown runs of 45 and 50 yards, and the 50-yard scamper featured Bush stopping on a dime to elude Fresno State defenders.

To date this is the best game Fresno State has played, but it was a loss. Perhaps Fresno State can continue to build up their program under Tim DeRuyter to give USC a real challenge, and maybe even win in 2014.
