College Football Bowl Projections: SB Nation Has Four MWC Teams, No Wyoming

First off there is no Wyoming Cowboys on SB Nation's 2012 college football bowl projections? That has to be some sort of mistake, because there is no way they do not get into a bowl game this year. Also, future Mountain West team Utah St. Aggies is listed twice, so maybe there was an over sight.

As for the teams that did make cut are below:

• Las Vegas Bowl: Boise St. Broncos vs. Stanford Cardinal
• New Mexico Bowl: Fresno St. Bulldogs vs. Washington St. Cougars
• Poinsettia Bowl: San Diego St. Aztecs vs. BYU Cougars
• Armed Forces Bowl: Nevada Wolf Pack vs. Houston Cougars

The Hawaii Bowl is the one that gets left out in terms of Mountain West bowl tie-ins, but odds that Wyoming gets left out is slim. Wyoming is likely to win at least seven games and should likely get to eight or nine, and maybe even 10 if things really go there way.

As for the games themselves they are all appealing. There is former Mountain West team BYU, Boise State taking on Stanford, Mike Leach and his air raid offense with wide receiver Marquis Wilson and then Houston who should have an interesting offense.

These are early projections, so take them just as that.
