2012 College Football Rankings: Boise State Ranked No. 22 In Coaches Poll

College football is getting closer as camps open up this week, and now the initial preseason coaches poll is out, and the Boise St. Broncos get some respect despite losing Kellen Moore, Doug Martin and a plethora of starters by being ranked No. 22. They are the only team outside of the Big Six leagues who are ranked, and the only Mountain West team that is ranked, or receiving votes at all.

Boise State'sl opening opponent Michigan State is ranked No. 13, and an opponent down the road is BYU who is receiving votes. I am surprised that there are no votes for Fresno State or Nevada, I expected for them to earn a handful of votes each.

At the top, it is pretty split but I still think USC needs to be the top team especially since they just landed Penn State running back Silas Redd.
