Boise St. Broncos head coach Chris Petersen talked about parity and how the league is really wide open since so many teams, including themselves, lost a bunch of talent since there were only three returning first team all-conference members back.
Petersen feels talked about the preseason polls:
"Preseason polls are given, not earned. We have a chip on our shoulder about preseason polls."
At this point in Boise State's success it is hard for them to have a chip on their shoulder as Petersen said. However, they were predicted to win the league, but Petersen responded that they were the preseason champions last year and did not get the job done.
Petersen spoke about how his team does have experience despite that they lost a lot of starters from last seasons team. A lot of players have played in mop up or filled in on occasion, and he feels his team has enough experience.
