Select Number Of Betting Lines Released For College Football Season

Each year in early June the Golden Nugget releases early college football lines for fans to walk in and place some early bets. For the 2012 season they upped their number of games to 111 and they include all the key games, plus they throw a bone to a few UNLV games this year

The biggest spread out of the 111 games is the Boise State vs. UNLV game which has the Broncos at an early 35.5-point favorite at home. No surprise on that one as UNLV has struggled to turn the corner under head coach Bobby Hauck.

Other UNLV games on the board are Washington State which once again UNLV is the underdogs at 17.5 points, and then their rivalry game against Nevada which also UNLV as 17.5-point underdog.

The big Mountain West game is on opening weekend when Boise State heads on the road to take on Michigan State. The Golden Nugget has Boise State is a 6.5-point underdog.

The 6.5-point line seems a little low with Boise State losing a lot of talent from their 2011 team, but it also is showing them a huge sign of respect to be within a touchdown favorite on the road against a Big Ten favorite while also bringing in a new quarterback.

This is the highest line that Boise State has been up against since they were a seven-point underdog to TCU in the 2010 Fiesta Bowl.
