Boise State to Close out the Regular Season Today

6

The Boise State Broncos (13-15) close out their regular season at New Mexico today. They need a win over the Lobos to avoid finishing as last place in the conference. It has been a tough year for a young, injury-plagued team under second year head coach Leon Rice. The Lobos are the conference leaders with a record of 23-6. The Broncos have a lot at stake today, besides the possibility of being labeled as the MWC's newest cellar-dweller. They have only finished in last place once (in 1980), since starting play as a Division I team 42 years ago. Tipoff will be at 2 p.m. MT and televised on The Mtn.
