MWC NFL Combine Recap

Day 5 of the NFL Combine was today. The Mountain West has nineteen players there. I've listed them here along with a tidbit or two about certain players and a link to their NFL.com analysis. Not every player has worked out, and not every player did every drill, so these profiles might not all be complete. Still, it should be interesting to see where these guys go on draft day.

Boise State:

  1. DE Tyrone Crawford
  2. FS George Iloka
  3. RB Doug Martin
  4. DE Shea McClellin
  5. QB Kellen Moore
  6. OT Nate Potter
  7. DT Billy Winn

Fresno State:

  1. WR Devon Wylie

Hawaii:

  1. DT Vaughn Meatoga

Nevada:

  1. RB Mike Ball
  2. LB James-Michael Johnson
  3. LB Brandon Marshall
  4. WR Rishad Mathews
  5. DT Brett Roy

San Diego State

  1. LB Miles Burris
  2. RB Ronnie Hillman
  3. QB Ryan Lindley
  4. P Brian Stahovic

TCU:

  1. LB Tank Carder

Devon Wylie ran the fastest 40 time of any MWC player with a 4.39, the second-fastest time at the combine. He also had the highest vertical jump at 39 inches. He and Kellen Moore were the only two prospects to have video segments on their profiles. Nevada DT Brett Roy had the most bench press reps of any MWC player with 32. According to NFL.com, the highest-rated prospect was Boise State's Billy Winn, who is projected as a high second-round pick.
