Final SB Nation BlogPoll places Notre Dame No. 1

The regular season finale of the SB Nation BlogPoll is out, and to no shock, it is the Notre Dame Fighting Irish who hold the top spot heading into Miami. The Irish claim 42 of the 54 first place votes, the bulk of the others went to the Alabama Crimson Tide who have 11 first-place nods -- two go to Ohio State with one to, well, Florida.

As for the Mountain West teams, once again it is only Boise State who makes the cut at No. 18, but future Mountain West teams Utah State and San Jose State are ranked. Utah State is one spot ahead of Boise State at No. 17, and San Jose State is No. 25.

One noticeable item is that Texas if FINALLY not ranked, glad to see that happened.
