Las Vegas Halftime Score: Boise State leads 18-17

After a Keith Price rushing touchdown with 3 seconds left before the half, Washington has pulled the score within 18-17 after being down 18-3. Boise State defensively and offensively have played fundamentally better, but the defense has given up the occasional big play to allow the Huskies to score. Joe Southwick has outclassed Keith Price, going 16/21, 172 yards and 1 TD versus Price's 6/18, 104 yards (2 of those coming on a 42 and 39 yard reception), with one pick and a rushing touchdown. What has seemingly been Boise State's Achilles heel is Washington's Bishop Sankey, who's rushed for 129 yards on 16 carries with 1 TD as well as 2 receptions for 48 yards (including that 42-yard screen pass). Both defenses have stepped it up, as Boise State has forced a fumble and interception leading to 2 field goals, while the Huskies forced a fumble.
