The Utah State Aggies were looking like they were going to keep head coach Gary Andersen and both coordinators. Both coordinators turned down similar positions at mid-level BCS schools, however Andersen looks like he is on his way out of Logan, Utah, and to Madison, Wisc., to be the next Wisconsin Badgers head coach.
Sports illustrated's Pete Thamel reported that Andersen had interviewed for the Wisconsin job on Monday, and just a few hours after that report there were various reports on the Utah State and Wisconsin side saying that Andersen is on his way out.
Source confirms to me that Gary Andersen & Wisconsin are indeed in serious talks. Deal could get done in the next 36 hours.

Utah State gave Andersen an extension through 2018 less than a month ago, and Andersen turned down other BCS-level jobs. However, Wisconsin was the biggest school to reach out for his services.
Now Utah State needs to go out and replace their most successful coach in school history. Their two coordinators, Matt Wells (offensive) and Dave Aranada (defensive) have little experience, they could have possibly promoted Mike Sanford who has had head coaching experience at UNLV, and prior to that was the offensive coordinator at Utah. However, he left to take the head coaching job at Indiana State.
