FANTHROPOLOGY: Tell us why you are a fan of a Mountain West team

Tell us why you are a fan of any Mountain West team in the comments, and if yours is selected you are one step closer to an awesome prize.

This site is a melting pot of sorts for Mountain West football fans, and now is a chance to show your fandom, and win a cool prize as well. Hyundai has been a huge supporter with college football here on SB Nation, and now they are looking for the most awesomest fan. They want to send a lucky fan to any college football regular season or bowl game of their choice, they include two tickets, air fare and hotel stay.

All you guys have to do is leave a comment to why you are a fan of any of the Mountain West teams. You have until Friday Nov. 9 at 11:59 p.m. ET for your entry to count, anything after will not be considered.

WRITE A COMMENT: In the comments below write about why you are a fan of any Mountain West school. Discuss how you became a fan, any cool trips you may have taken, superstitions you do on game day at home, tailgating but basically just describe why you are a great fan of your school.

So, no writing about why you are a fan over the other Mountain West sites like OBNUG, Cowboy Altitude, or any other general college football site like EDSBS, Sunday Morning QB or Football Study Hall. So, again one entry across the network, if there is more than one comment toward the contest the first will be taken. A comment like "great story" or a general comment about someone else's fandom does not count as your entry.

WHY: Pretty clear, win a paid trip to any college football regular season or bowl game, by just talking about why you are a fan.

WHAT: Once again the winning entry from each site will be entered into a contest against all the other site winners. A committee will read all the stories and select the grand prize winner. The winner receivers TWO TICKETS, AIRFARE AND HOTEL to the game or bowl game of their choice, Pretty sweet prize.

Once the site winner is chosen I will have a conversation with the finalist over email that will become a second post in this series, where we will discuss your fandom in even more. Finally, the judges above us here at SB Nation will read through all of the finalist conversation posts and pick the winner by Thursday, 11/22.

Also don't have to go to a game that your team is playing in. You can choose any game you want, whether it be Boise State vs. Nevada, Las Vegas Bowl or even the BCS title game. I would have a hard time not choosing a game in Hawai'i, whether it be a Hawai'i game or the Hawai'i Bowl.
