The Broncos sure know how to silence an arena. Boise State took Creighton out 83-70 in front of 16,000 plus shocked fans. Derrick Marks put up 28 second half points en-route to a 35 point career high night as the Broncos shot 60.4% from the field. Anthony Drmic added 17 points and Jeff Elorriaga had 12 points. The Broncos took the lead less than two minutes into the first half and never looked back. Leading 39-33 at halftime, Boise State unleashed Marks upon the Bluejays, who then put up some awesomely difficult layups and made them look easy

How big was this win for Boise State?

It was the Broncos first win over a ranked opponent since 2009 at home against then No. 21 Utah State, only the second win ever as the away team (last time was 2005 against No. 24 Nevada) and the highest ranked team Boise State has ever beaten (the next highest ranked you ask? 1998 at home versus No. 15 Washington).

The Broncos will continue their road trip Sunday when they play the Seattle Redhawks at the Key Arena.
