Simulated BCS Standings: Boise State looking good at No. 22

The official BCS standings are not out yet, but Boise State is making a little bit of noise at No. 22 in the simulated standings.

The official BCS standings do not come out until next week, but each week during the season SB Nation's BCS Guru Samuel Chi has been putting together BCS projections. With the addition of the Harris poll, these projections are pretty close to being what the official standings would look like.

Boise State is actually sitting in good position by being ranked 22nd, and add that with no Big Ten teams currently in the BCS top 25 that is going to help Boise State possibly make a run at another BCS bowl game. With the Big Ten down, then Boise State would only need to be ranked No. 16, assuming Big Ten champ is lower rated that that, to earn another BCS bowl appearance.

Also, what will help is to have Nevada keep's winning making the final game of the regular season possibly be between two ranked teams.

It is still early, but Boise State has a shot, if things fall their way.
