The Nevada Wolf Pack are in a tough battle against the Wyoming Cowboys, and are tied 21-21 early in the third quarter. However, a big blow came to Nevada as starting quarterback Cody Fajardo left the game in the second quarter after he threw an interception, and on that play he took a big hit. Fajarado was slow in getting up off the field, and was replaced by Devin Combs.
It is Devin Combs on the field at quarterback to start the second half. This is his first big test at Nevada.

Cody Fajardo is on the sidelines, but doesn't have a helmet. Looks like he's done for the game. Pack has picked up 4 first downs with Combs.

Fajardo is done for the game, and hopefully it is not too serious, but nonetheless this is a big blow for Nevada. Before Fajardo came out of the game he completed 19-of-26 passes for 221 yards, two touchdowns and that one interception.
Devin Combs has played well so far in place of Fajardo, but he is in a close game and will need to play well to lead Nevada to victory. Look for running back Stefphon Jefferson to get a lot more carries.
