Week 7 is here for the Mountain West football, and there are some good games this weekend. So come and join us by chatting about the matchups.
The game of the day has to be Fresno State at Boise State (3:30 p.m. ET, NBC Sports Network). This game is basically the first leg of determining who is going to win the Mountain West. It will be a classic offense vs. defense matchup. Boise State has the defense and Fresno State has the offense, well that is not entirely true, because Fresno State has Phillip Thomas has six picks and has scored a pair of touchdowns off of those. Plus, as a team they have 12 interceptions which leads the nation.
Nevada and UNLV has a canon involved, so that will be a spectacle.
Then the other game of interest is New Mexico at Hawaii, not because of the quality of teams, but the Lobos can get their fourth win of the year. Also, I want to finally see how the New Mexico running game works, and going up against a poor Warriors rush defense they should shine. So, take a nap, or just crack open a Red Bull to watch some of this late night tilt.
