Tanner Brock, Ed Wesley Did Not Travel With TCU To Colorado Springs

Early today, it was reported that TCU running back Ed Wesley and linebacker Tanner Brock would be questionable to play against Air Force on Saturday because of injuries, but now it is being reported by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that Wesley and Brock did not make the trip to Colorado Springs. This could potentially be a big blow for TCU, because they are also without running back Aundre Dean who said on twitter that he is not going to make the trip due to an ankle injury. That leaves TCU with only Waymon James and Matthew Tucker at running back and those two are capable of handling running the football, but if either of those players go down then TCU could be in real trouble.

The replacement for Tanner Brock looks to be senior Kris Gardner who has played in every game the past two years for TCU in a strictly backup roll. In the Baylor game Gardner recorded four tackles. We will find out early in the game to see if there is a drop off on the defensive side of the ball, because against the Baylor they did allow Terrance Ganaway to rush for 120 yards.
