TCU's Ed Wesley, Tanner Brock May Not Play Against Air Force Due To Injuries

The TCU Horned Frogs could be without two key starters for their matchup against the Air Force Falcons this Saturday due to injury. Running back Ed Wesley and linebacker Tanner Brock have not practiced all week and are questionable to play. Both are suffering from pre-existing injuries with Wesley re-injuring his shoulder in the first half of the Baylor game and that injury kept him out of the second half and limited Wesley to only six carries for 36 yards.

The Wesley injury is one he first sustained during a scrimmage during fall camp. TCU had multiple running backs to take the place of Wesley if he is out in Waymon James and Matthew Tucker. These three players were all sharing carries, but the loss of an experienced back is never good. TCU also has Skye Dawson who TCU used in the running game against Baylor, so look for him to get a few more carries.

Linebacker Tanner Brock has been using crutches all week recovering from an injured foot that he had surgery on over the summer, and this injury was the reason why Brock saw limited action in the Baylor game. If Brock is unable to play it will diminish TCU's chances against Air Force who's strong point is running the ball with their option offense and missing an experienced starter will give Air Force just one more advantage on Saturday.

Both players will be a game time decision.
