The San Diego St. Aztecs picked up one of the top centers on the West coast in Skylar Spencer. Spencer selected San Diego State over Washington which were his last two schools, but others he also considered were Utah, UTEP, Nevada and New Mexico.
Spencer committed to the Aztecs after his visit over the weekend and he is part of what is shaping up to bea great 2012 class for San Diego State. Here are Spencer's comments about selecting the Aztecs:
"It was just a good feeling, I liked it all around, it just felt welcoming," said Spencer, who can't sign a binding letter of intent until November. "I know I'll be getting good minutes, and Coach (Steve) Fisher will let me play my game and won't hold me back."
There are not too many highlights of Spencer online, but this one shows off his athleticism.
