The AP Poll has been released, well at least through the AP's twitter account and Oklahoma is number one in the AP poll as wel las the the coaches poll.

Seeing Boise State at No. 5 and receiving four first place votes is quite an accomplishment. Each voter has their own philosophy and that can be how they think the team fill finish, base their vote off of last year or where they think the team fits going into week one.

TCU seems about right sitting at No. 14 going into the Baylor game. The only other Mountain West team to get consideration is Air Force who 14 points and seven of those goes to Jon Wilner of the San Jose Mercury News who put them No. 19 in his AP ballot.

Mountain West opponents who appear in the poll are Nebraska at No. 10, Wisconsin at No. 11, Arkansas at No. 15, Notre Dame at No. 16, Georgia at No.19 and then there is Hawaii, Nevada and BYU who are receiving votes.

Look for the complete poll including the 'others receiving votes' to be published once the AP updates their website.
