Former Missouri Quarterback Tyler Gabbert Visited Central Florida On Wednesday

On Aug. 12 there was a report coming out that former Missouri quarterback Tyler Gabbert was close to signing with Wyoming, but now it is being reported that Gabbert visited Central Florida on Wednesday. Gabbert is looking for a new school since he left Missouri and he had a brief stint with Louisville this past spring but felt the need to not enroll.

Central Florida seems like an odd fit since the school has a sophomore in Jeff Godfrey who started as a true freshman started all 12 games for UCF where he threw for 2,159 yards, 13 touchdowns and eight interceptions en route to a C-USA championship and Liberty Bowl win over Georgia.

Gabbert maybe looking into UCF since his brother Blaine Gabbert is a rookie quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars. A decision needs to be made soon because even though Gabbert will have to sit out a year for transferring he does need to be enrolled and accepted so that he can attend classes once they begin.
