REPORT: Air Force Is Being Mentioned As A Possible Candidate To Join The Big 12

The Big 12 is now racking their brain on what teams to add if they lose Texas A&M and possibly Oklahoma to the SEC. Earlier it was mentioned BYU and Louisville are being considered for the Big 12, but now according to the Austin American-Statesman Kirk Bohls there is an order of who the Big 12 is looking at:

Top names UT, I mean Big 12, will consider from several sources: Notre Dame, BYU, Air Force in that order.less than a minute ago via web Favorite Retweet Reply

Interesting to see Air Force in the mix on this, but I do not see what they really bring to the table in the grand scheme of things. Also there is no way Notre Dame joins the instability of the Big 12 especially if two power schools in Texas A&M and Oklahoma are gone. Now if only Texas A&M is on their way then it would be a better league, but Notre Dame would still be better as an independent.
