UNLV Fans Going All Out To Impress Shabazz Muhammad

UNLV fans are going to extreme lengths to try to land small forward Shabazz Muhammad who is the top rated player in the 2013 class. Muhammad is a Las Vegas native and attends Bishop Gorman whose head coach Grant Rice happens to be the brother of new UNLV head coach Dave Rice.

Rebel fans have created a twitter account under the name UNLVluvsShabazz to try to influence his decision. However, the most impressive item may be the video that has Muhammad in a UNLV jersey and a which was created by Las Vegas-based art director Josh Meeter.

UNLV has other advantages as well such as Muhammad scrimmaging and hanging out with current UNLV players. If UNLV wants to land Muhammad they will need more then fan support to, because the heavy hitters in college hoops are also going after Muhammad in Arizona, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, UCLA plus a plethora of other schools. While UNLV is said to be right there until the end, the Rebels are the only team outside of a BCS league to have offered Muhammad.

Here are some highlights of Muhammad:
