The eighth round is in the books and the first non-AQ team taken was BYU and then TCU was taken at 47. Virginia being picked at 48 because they are not really good at football or basketball and unless they want to add a lacrosse power to the fold. I guess a logical reason is to have rivals with the other two ACC schools that were taken by BCI with Clemson and Duke.
