More Post-Spring Top 25 College Football Rankings

More post-spring top 25 rankings are making their way through the Internet and the latest comes from Dennis Dodd of CBSSports.com. He has both TCU and Boise State in the top 25, which is not surprising at all. He is not as high as the ESPN poll which had Boise State at the seven spot while TCU is above the 22nd spot in the ESPN poll.

I am glad to see LSU fall a bit, but sitting at the third spot with still no clue who their quarterback will be is a bit optimistic. Again, Ohio State is way too high sitting at number nine. Glad to see Texas not in a preseason poll since last year's 5-7; the 'Horns may be there at the end of the year, but not at this time.

So, enjoy and debate the rankings.

1. Oklahoma: Previous rank: 2

2. Alabama: Previous rank: 4

3. LSU: Previous rank: 1

4. Oregon: Previous rank: 3

5. Stanford: Previous rank: 5

6. Oklahoma State: Previous rank: 7

7. Texas A&M: Previous rank: 8

8. Florida State: Previous rank: 11

10. Nebraska: Previous rank: 14

11. Michigan State: Previous rank: 9

12. Wisconsin: Previous rank: 10

13. Arkansas: Previous rank: 12

14. Boise State: I'd like to formally welcome the Broncos to Division I-A after the program was accused of major violations by the NCAA. Boise will win in a new conference (Mountain West) and underappreciated Kellen Moore will make himself a steal in the 2012 draft. 2011 MVP: Moore. Previous rank: 13

15. Auburn: Previous rank: 15

16. TCU: After a Rose Bowl win, Gary Patterson won't let the Frogs slip too much. Watch surprising Casey Pachall take the place of Andy Dalton at quarterback. 2011 MVP: Tank Carder. Previous rank: 16

17. Virginia Tech: Previous rank: 18

18. South Carolina: Previous rank: 17

19. Notre Dame: Previous rank: 19

20. Mississippi State Previous rank: 20.

21. Arizona State: Previous rank: 22

22. Utah: Previous rank: NR

23. Georgia: Previous rank: 21

24. West Virginia: Previous rank: NR

25. Florida: Previous rank: T-25
