After some confusion on if the NFL was back in lockout status or not, the NFL is officially back in lockout status. The owners were granted a stay from the eighth circuit court to keep the lockout in place. Many were hoping the lockout would not come back into effect until early next week so that rookies could get playbooks and for there to be some undrafted rookie signings. Now, that is all not going to happen which means that players who are not drafted need to keep working out and hope the lockout ends soon so that they can sign with a team. If the lockout is extensive then the undrafted players will have to evaluate their options like the UFL or CFL.
Well, the draft is still going on and there is now a lot more nervous players who are fringe draft picks.
