2011 NFL Draft: Pro Football Talk's Round Two Mock Draft Has Colin Kaepernick To Bills

More and more second round mock drafts are coming out, and the latest comes from Pro Football Talk. Their mock is a bit different as they have Nevada Wolfpack quarterback Colin Kaepernick being the first quarterback off the board to the Buffalo Bills at pick number 34:

34. Bills: Colin Kaepernick, quarterback, Nevada.

Cincinnati's draft strategy was pretty much made public over the past two weeks: Take A.J. Green at four and pray a passable quarterback prospect falls to

35. Bengals: Andy Dalton, quarterback, TCU.

Cincinnati's draft strategy was pretty much made public over the past two weeks: Take A.J. Green at four and pray a passable quarterback prospect falls to 35. Dalton would probably be the Bengals' Week One starter.

51. Buccaneers: Chris Carter, defensive end, Fresno State.

The Bucs got a power end in Adrian Clayborn at No. 20 overall. Carter has exceptional burst, and would be a dangerous Clayborn complement rushing off the wide side.

This is the first mock draft that I have found that does not have Bois State's Titus Young and has Fresno State defensive end Chris Carter.

As for the Kaepernick pick, SB Nation's Buffalo Bills site Buffalo Rumblings feel that the best quarterback for them is Kaepernick, but not with the 34th pick:

I do not think the Bills will be going quarterback with this pick. On the off chance that they do, however, Kaepernick is the only guy I think they'd consider. Very high ceiling, great scheme fit for Chan Gailey, and impeccable character and intangibles. I wouldn't be disappointed if he were the pick at all.
