Wyoming, as expected, only has one player who has a real shot at making it onto the board: Safety Chris Prosinski. Prosinski was the only consistently bright spot on the Cowboys defense the past two seasons. Both of his final seasons he had 100+ tackles, had 5 interceptions during his career as a Cowboy, and forced 4 fumbles. At his Pro Day, Prosinski ran the 40-yard dash in 4.39 seconds and 4.44 seconds, the short shuttle in 4.28 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.85 seconds. He measured an 11-foot-2 broad jump, a 39 1/2-inch vertical jump and completed 14 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press.
Prosinski has actually gained interest from a few different teams and held private workouts with Jacksonville, Oakland and Kansas City. Keep in mind that if any of these teams are seriously interested in Prosinski, they will take him near the end of the draft. he's considered by all three as what would be a late steal, so there shouldn't be any surprises during Rounds 1-5 regarding Prosinski.
Here are some highlights on Prosinski during his career at Wyoming:
Since a CBA Agreement is needed in order for Undrafted Free Agents to be signed, I would expect Prosinski to get drafted. Normally, guys of this caliber would drop to the status of undrafted and get signed by a team that was interested in him, but since that scenario isn't possible in this year's draft, these teams may feel more inclined to take him in the 6th or 7th round. I see either Jacksonville, Oakland, or Kansas City taking him late in the draft. They all have held private workouts for Prosinski and have shown that they like him, so expect him to be drafted sometime on Saturday.
