On Monday, the Air Force Falcon football team was presented the Commander-in-Chief trophy by President Barack Obama. The Commander-in-Chief award goes to the service academy who has the best record among the three. Air Force defeated Navy on Oct. 2, 16-7, and also defeated Army 42-22 on Nov. 6. This was the first time Air Force took home the trophy since the 2002 season, during that seven-year stretch Navy won the award each year. Prior to that Air Force held the trophy from 1997-2002.

This is a pretty sweet image of the President Obama receiving his Air Force football jersey.
Air Force will try to start another streak of keeping the Commander-In-Chief trophy come the 2011 football season.
