The Air Force Falcons will be heading East to Washington D.C. and will play in the Military Bowl. The opponent will be the Toledo Rockets from the MAC and they finished 8-4 on the year. Air Force made a deal to get into this game and it makes sense to have a armed forces school in this game and since Navy did not qualify for a bowl game, so the next best thing was to get Air Force for this bowl game.
We will see how well Toledo does against Air Force's run option attack given over three weeks preparation before the bowl game. The two teams do have a common opponent in the Boise St. Broncos, Toledo lost 40-15 where Air Force lost 37-26.
The game takes place in RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. with a 4:30 pm ET kick off time on Wednesday, Dec. 28
