The latest USA Today coaches poll is out and Boise State does not get passed by a team this week and are still ranked No. 6. However, even though Boise State is ranked the same they actually lost points from last week to this week. Boise State had 1,186 points last week and this week fell to 1,170 points and have a slim two point lead over the Oklahoma St. Cowboys.
The reason that is important is because the coaches poll is one-third of the BCS and it goes by point total and not the actual ranking for a more accurate reflection of where a team is ranked.
TCU gained some votes after their win over San Diego State, but not enough to be ranked.
