Air Force Falcons - Playing New Mexico can fix any woes a team has. Air Force just dominated New Mexico which is what we all should have expected, and they rushed for 335 yards.
Colorado St. Rams - Colorado State defense allowed a bad UNLV offensive team to double their scoring average and score 38 points. The rushing game finally showed up as Chris Nwoke rushed for 156 yards and the offense mad a fourth quarter comeback, but ultimately the defense failed to stop UNLV on the final drive.
New Mexico Lobos - Shutout for the second consecutive week, who would want to coach this team?
San Diego St. Aztecs - Ronnie Hillman had a career game with 224 rushing yards and two touchdowns on a nine yard per carry average and 81 yards receiving with another touchdown. The San Diego State secondary allowed for a true freshman quarterback to light them up for 341 yards. San Diego State is just an inconsistent team this year.
TCU Horned Frogs - Another game where TCU did not start slow and did their defense had a big game. The secondary allowed some deep passing plays, but they did not allow many points. The defense forced three interceptions in the game and gave the TCU offense short fields all day.
UNLV Rebels - A surprise upset win over Colorado State was led by the rushing attack of freshman Dionza Bradford who rushed for 122 yards and a score. Plus there was a Phillip Payne sighting as he had two touchdowns on 48 yards. The UNLV defense which has been above average in creating turnovers continued their ways by forcing three turnovers which aided in the win.
Wyoming Cowboys - Wyoming was an extremely fringe team to make a bowl game since they had to win seven games this year but with an upset over San Diego State Wyoming has a shot to make a bowl game. Freshman quarterback Brett Smith had a career game by throwing for 341 yards and two scores. If Wyoming can beat Colorado State and New Mexico they will go bowling.
