Mountain West Week 9 Early Football Odds

Here is the first look at the early week 9 odds for Mountain West teams.

TCU (-11) vs. BYU - This is the correct line because even though BYU is 6-2 they do not have a win against a team with a winning record. TCU looks to have found their way and should cover this spread against a bad BYU team.

Air Force (-30) vs. New Mexico - So, if this game has Air Force by 30 what will the odds be when Boise State plays New Mexico? Boise State was favored by 30 over Air Force. This amount seems too much just because Air Force's offense is not really a quick strike offense, however if New Mexico lays a goose egg then this 30 point spread is correct.

Colorado State (-3) at UNLV - This seems like it would be higher in favor of Colorado State just because how bad UNLV has been so far, but Colorado State has not progressed from earlier in the season. The Rams actually have somewhat of a defense so the Rams should be able to cover this points.

Wyoming at San Diego State (-14) - This is interesting because Wyoming has a defense and San Diego State seems to have their offense all on the same page with their recent 41-24 win over Air Force in week 7. My indication is to lean toward San Diego State if their offense can perform like they can, and I think they will.
