Ex-Michigan quarter Tate Forcier who recently announced his intent to transfer from Michigan via twitter has narrowed down his choices to include: Miami, Washington, Baylor, San Diego State, Middle Tennessee State and New Mexico.
Really, New Mexico? I guess he wants to go to a place where he knows he has a shot to be the starter right away, and that is exactly what Forcier said when he announced these choices:
"I'm really just looking for the best situation and the best opportunity," Forcier said. "I have a few schools at all levels that I'm interested in. I'm going to set up all my visits as early as possible because all the schools are already wanting me to come visit starting this weekend.
As for San Diego State, Ryan Lindley will be gone by the time the mandatory year that Forcier has to sit out for transferring. Forcier seems like an athlete who was supposed to be great, just check the family's QB Force website and you will get the idea. He has talent but he felt he was misused at Michigan since they went to the spread offense and even though Brady Hoke is not staying in that direction he feels he is stuck and wants a fresh start. Who knows that place could be at New Mexico who features possibly the worst college football team in America, but hey he gets that playing time he always wanted.
