Oregon Squashes New Mexico 72-0

Do not be fooled this game was not as close as the final score indicated.  I was somewhat hoping that Oregon would have put up 100 points on the poor, poor Lobos.  Not to rush to any sort of judgment but Mike Locksley's seat is firmly on fire and he needs to show some type of improvement this year.

Yes, Oregon is a top 10 team, but this game was laughable, at least Northwestern State made a game out of it against Air Force earlier today.  The Ducks had six plays for scores over 25 yards and two of those were from kick returns.  New Mexico turned the ball over five times, had eight first downs to Oregon's 35, were out gained 720 to107 yards, and the most bizarre is that time of possession was 27 for New Mexico and 33 to Oregon.

Nothing went right for the Lobos and this was just an embarrassment on all ends, and my bold prediction from the preview post that said New Mexico will not finish last looks to be wrong already.
