USA Today Coaches Poll: TCU Ranked 5th And Utah 14th

The new polls are out this week and Utah makes a huge jump in the coaches poll for beating UNLV who in all honestly is not a very good team.  The Utes were 20th but shot up to 14th in the polls and if things go to plan week 10 against TCU could be another game against two top 10 tens, but Utah must be aware of Air Force in week nine. I attribute Utah's jump in the polls to the ACC royally sucking this weekend with Miami, Florida State, Virginia Tech, and Georgia Tech all getting beat.  Plus, toss in Georgia who lost to South Carolina, and all of that helped Utah move up in the polls.

Somehow, Florida only drops from six to seven as they manage to defeat South Florida quite handily but their offense still is a complete a mess.  I am shocked that Oklahoma did not jump higher with their impressive win over formally ranked Florida State.  The Sooners moved up one spot to the nine hole.  A big Mountain West matchup occurs next week as San Diego State travels to play #25 Missouri which will be the first test under Brady Hoke, and the only thing I will guarantee is that there will be a bunch of points. Also, Air Force is getting some pollster love after beating BYU and is sitting at 28th in the others receiving votes section.

Now onto the polls!
