A reoccurring feature that we will be doing here where we take a look at 2011 commits in the MWC.

Again before we get too deep into these players a lot of them have not been evaluated by the respective services and those links will be updated through the summer and fall.

School:  BYU

Position:  Defensive Line

Height/Weight:  6'1''/230-245 (depending on the site)

High School:  Bingham High in South Jordan, Utah

Sacks 6.0

Tackles 18

There has not been a ton of evaluating done on this player, but one thing to know about BYU is that they recruit players early to ensure they are there from the beginning to develop a relationship.

Kaumatule plays defensive line in high school, but is still small to play that position at the collegiate level,so look for him to move to play a hands down defensive end or an outside linebacker for BYU.  His speed is ok and according to Rivals is a 4.88 and can bench a max 275.  Both numbers will increase as he develops and will have to get better to handle the rigors of big time college football.

The move to linebacker looks to be a better fit because of his good foot work and lateral quickness he is said to have, but he is enough of an athlete to be a versatile player and log some time at defensive end.
